FRUITFUL
(2008)
Is it enough to create something purely for its beauty? If so, where do I stop? At what point does it reach its fullest expression of beauty?
Lines > Layers > Levels
I’m exploring the transition from dots to lines, from lines to layers, and from layers to levels—moving from simplicity to complexity, from flat sheets to three-dimensional forms.
This is an experiment in aesthetics, applied to a fruit tray—an object that doesn’t require complex functionality, or perhaps one that didn’t need to exist in the first place.
